Job Description:
The Candidate will be responsible for the sales of the products of BA Systems, selling to the Channel Partners (Systems Integrators and Telco/ISP Service Providers) who are our customers, for onward sale to Enterprises.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manages an assigned geography or vertical to maximize sales revenues and meet company objectives:
• Accurately forecasts monthly, quarterly & annual revenue streams
• Engages and grows Channel Partner base best suited for our products in the assigned territory, leveraging existing strong relationships in the Channel
• Generates, with the help of Marketing, qualifies and closes opportunities working in close partnership with and supporting Channel Partners
• Provides close partnership and support for Channel Partners to develop and close opportunities generated by them
• Provides appropriate training for sales colleagues from Channel Partners to ensure they sell our products effectively
• Reviews sales performance in assigned territory
• Conducts professional account management activities
• Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable product sales
• Within BA Systems, is the customer evangelist for Channel Partners, ensuring BA Systems responds most efficaciously to every requirement of
the Channel Partner
2. Partners with Product Technical Specialist and maintains a deep understanding of evolving Enterprise customer requirements and educates wider
BA Systems team on these requirements to ensure efficacious product development:
• Maintains deep understanding of evolving Enterprise customer requirements
• Educates the wider BA Systems team (particularly the technical team) on customer requirements
3. Teamwork and Other
• Work closely with sales colleagues to share opportunities and experience
• Prepare and present compelling sales presentations
• Track competitor activities closely and share key findings with S&M colleagues
• Ensure management of expenses of the area at a reasonable level
Requirements:
1. Bachelors/Masters degree in a Business/Marketing discipline
2. Minimum of 7 years experience of which 3+ years experience in sales of Networking products viz., Routing/Securities/Switching products preferably through Channels to the Enterprise Customers
3. Strong presentation skills
4. Must have strong experience in selling into Service Provider (SP), Systems Integrator / Resellers (SI/VAR), Enterprise and Small to Medium Business (SMB) accounts in NEW DELHI/NCR/North region
5. Must have channel sales/management experience.
6. Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
7. Comprehensive knowledge of the IP Networking industry and sound business knowledge of products in this space
8. Strong understanding of datacom and particularly internet business sector
9. Skills in working closely with the Technical team to articulate customer needs to ensure efficacious product development
10. Contacts within SIs, VARs, Enterprise, SMB and SPs accounts. This is a key requirement strictly applicable
11. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and organize
12. Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
13. Ability to travel extensively within the territory
Reporting Structure: This position reports to --- VP Sales & Marketing, India.
