Description:
The
Candidate will be responsible for the sales of the products of BA Systems,
selling to the Channel Partners (Systems Integrators and Telco/ISP Service
Providers) who are our customers, for onward sale to Enterprises.
Main
Responsibilities:
1.Manages an
assigned geography or vertical to maximize sales revenues and meet company
objectives:
- Accurately forecasts monthly, quarterly & annual
revenue streams
- Engages and grows Channel Partner base best suited for
our products in the assigned territory, leveraging existing strong
relationships in the Channel
- Generates, with the help of Marketing, qualifies and
closes opportunities working in close partnership with and supporting
Channel Partners
- Provides close partnership and support for Channel
Partners to develop and close opportunities generated by them
- Provides appropriate training for sales colleagues from
Channel Partners to ensure they sell our products effectively
- Reviews sales performance in assigned territory
- Conducts professional account management activities
- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient
and stable product sales
- Within BA Systems, is the customer evangelist for
Channel Partners, ensuring BA Systems responds most efficaciously to every
requirement of the Channel Partner

Partners with Product Technical Specialist and maintains a deep
understanding of evolving Enterprise customer requirements and educates wider BA
Systems team on these requirements to ensure efficacious product development:
- Maintains deep understanding of evolving Enterprise
customer requirements
- Educates the wider BA Systems team (particularly the
technical team) on customer requirements
3.
Teamwork and Other
- Work closely with sales colleagues to share
opportunities and experience
- Prepare and present compelling sales presentations
- Track competitor activities closely and share key
findings with S&M colleagues
- Ensure management of expenses of the area at a
reasonable level
Requirements:
1. Bachelors/Masters
degree in a Business/Marketing discipline
2. Minimum of 7 years
experience of which 3+ years experience in sales of Networking products viz.,
Routing/Securities/Switching products– preferably through Channels to the
Enterprise Customers
3. Strong presentation
skills
4. Must have strong
experience in selling into Service Provider (SP), Systems Integrator / Resellers
(SI/VAR), Enterprise and Small to Medium Business (SMB) accounts in NEW
DELHI/NCR/North region
5. Must have channel
sales/management experience.
6.
Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
7. Comprehensive
knowledge of the IP Networking industry and sound business knowledge of products
in this space
8. Strong
understanding of datacom and particularly internet business sector
9. Skills in working
closely with the Technical team to articulate customer needs to ensure
efficacious product development
10. Contacts within
SIs, VARs, Enterprise, SMB and SPs accounts. This is a key requirement strictly
applicable
11. Demonstrated
ability to establish priorities and organize
12. Outstanding verbal and written English
communication skills
13. Ability to travel
extensively within the territory

Description:
Responsible for Pre-Sales, In-Trial and Post-Sales Product
Technical Specialist support of BA System’s products
Main Responsibilities:
1. Work in close partnership with the Regional Sales Team providing RFP,
Network Design and Technical Support to facilitate the achievement of sales
targets for products within the territory
2. Interaction (in terms of Product Presentations, Demonstrations, Product
clarifications etc,.) with Systems Integrators / Resellers, End Customers and
Service Providers operating within the territory
3. Provide Support in Product Testing, Approval, product technical training and
technical sales assistance (in terms of Product Presentations, Demonstrations,
Product clarifications etc,.) to Service Providers, Systems Integrators /
Resellers and end Customers operating within the territory to help close
business
4. Be the conduit for communication between the market and the BA Technical Team
on technical solution strategy and development of Proof-of-Concepts
5. Assist with solution installation planning and answer product function
/how-to questions
Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline
(Additional Certifications from CISCO, Juniper, Fortinet, etc…is a significant
advantage)
2. Minimum of 8 years experience of which 4+ years
experience in delivering presales technical support for Routing/Securities/High
End Switching products – preferably in the Enterprise Access / managed space
3. Strong presentation skills
4. Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
5. Comprehensive knowledge of the IP Networking industry and sound technical
knowledge of products like Routing, Securities and High End Switching
6. Strong understanding of datacom and particularly internet technologies
7. Skills in delivering Technical support and providing
solutions including Proof-of-Concepts and Demonstration to customers
8. Ability to keep abreast of and adapt to existing as well as emerging
technologies in the Networking field
